1998  Les Paul `58 Reissue

Гитара в отличном состоянии, превосходное нитролаковое покрытие, без сколов и трещин. Цвет – Cherry Sunburst. Лады в первозданном состоянии, не меняны. Изумительная "бразильская" накладка грифа - такая накладка редкость !!! 
Гитара очень лёгкая, всего 8lbs.15oz., удивительный сустейн, отлично сбаллансирована. Звукосниматели поменяны на WCR Darcburst Humbuckers для того, чтобы гитара звучала, как Duane Allman`s Durkburst. Электроника образца 58 года, масляные ёмкости «Bumblebee». Схема включения как на оригинальном Burst. Вся фурнитура стареная – аутентичная образцу Burst. Вклейка грифа – Long Tennon. Гитара приходит в оригинальном кофре (идеальное состояние) и в заводской комплектации - с ремнём и документами, правда, сертификата на идентичность Gibson в эти годы ещё не выдавал.
1998 - очень удачный год для инструментальной деревяшки, что подтверждается её сустейном и весом!

1998 Gibson Les Pau l ’58 Reissue in excellent condition. The color is a Cherry Sunburst. The finish is in great condition.  The back only has a few light marks in the clear and could be buffed out if you are looking to make it perfect. (You can’t see them from the front, so I never thought to do it.) The neck is straight and true. It plays beautifully all of the way up and down with low action and no buzzing. The fretboard is a very nice, dark figured rosewood and looks like it is Brazilian. This Les Paul weighs in at 8 lbs. 15 oz. (just under 9 lbs.) and is very resonant and balanced. The pickups have been replaced with the WCR Darkburst humbuckers (wound to sound like Duane Allman’s Darkburst). The stop tail piece and ABR-1 bridge are aged, lightweight. The capacitors are the Bumblebee paper/oil caps.
The guitar comes with the original hardshell case and all of the “case candy”. Gibson did not yet offer a Certificate of Authenticity with guitars in 1998.
I consider this year to be the pinnacle of Gibson’s 1958 Reissue guitars. These “good wood era” instruments seem to have much higher quality flame tops and straighter grain mahogany, without giving up tone and increased weight. Here is an opportunity to own a magnificent example of a ’58 Les Paul.
